Noxious weed control information
There is a Summit County ordinance requiring property owners to remove noxious weeds from their property annually. While our neighborhood will never be 100% free of invasives, we need to make an effort each year to keep these plants under control. Some of the species listed in the attached Summit County handbook are toxic to wildlife and pets and have toxic or irritant components for humans as well.
THERE ARE OPTIONS FOR WEED CONTROL THAT ARE SAFER FOR WILDLIFE, PETS AND PEOPLE. Please refrain from purchasing carcinogenic agents such as RoundUp… pulling weeds before they go to seed is much safer and more effective.
